Overlander Magazine has awarded
the Land Rover Discovery 4 2.7 TDV6 "Best
Overall and Best Large Diesel wagon" award
in their 2010 Annual Awards.

Trent Nikolic, editor of Overlander magazine,
explained why the Discovery was selected ahead
of it's rivals including Toyota Landcruiser 200
Series and Prado 150 "It is not as powerful
as the Discovery 4 3.0L version, but it's cheaper
and the fact that you can equip it with 17 inch
wheels makes it far more practical. Like the Discovery
3 before it, it is a deserved winner of the Best
Overall Award and along the way it also picks
up the "Best Large Diesel Wagon Award"
The Range Rover Vogue TDV8 model also won "Best
Luxury Vehicle". Nikolic comments "Regardless
of which engine is up front, the new Vogue remains
the quintessential luxury 4WD.It's like a very
comfortable gentlemen's club on very capable wheels"

"These awards are testimony to the quality
and capability of the 2010 model year Land Rover
and Range Rover model range. Our customers have
also embraced the model range which is vindicated
by our sales results which are up by 33% on a
year to date basis" explained Chris Lidis,
Operations Director, Land Rover / Range Rover
Australia.
