Lexus' luxurious off-roader LX 570
will gain greater specification and a new look
for 2010.
All LX 570 models will receive upgrades to the
navigation and user interface, USB input for portable
media devices, a 12-volt socket in the cargo areas,
headlamp washers and updated privacy glass in
the rear of the vehicle.

The LX 570 Prestige model will be replaced by
a Sports variant, which gains a centre console
cool-box, rear seat entertainment system and roof
rails.
Sports Luxury models will also have a new look,
with the addition of 10-spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels
and a sports body-kit featuring front and rear
aero spoilers.
Visual upgrades to the Sports Luxury models give
the LX 570 a lower, muscular appearance, and are
designed to stand out both on and off-road.

Lexus chief executive Tony Cramb said that the
upgrades to LX 570 will increase the appeal of
a model already highly regarded for its off-road
ability and safety.
"Upgrades to LX 570 will add further appeal
to those wanting to take their Lexus off-road,
with Sports models becoming the premium Lexus
off-roader.
"For those who want the space and safety
offered from LX 570, Sports Luxury models will
feature greater visual muscle, and the safety
of side, front and reversing cameras - vital in
negotiating the suburban jungle," said Mr
Cramb.
The LX 570 will carry a recommended retail price
(RRP)* of $149,500 for the Sports and $165,400
for the Sports Luxury.
