Discovery 3 has established a strong position as a premium, luxury, all-purpose vehicle since its launch, with an off-road pedigree which is unrivalled. The 2009 Land Rover Discovery 3 continues this theme with incorporation of eye-catching exterior revisions, new interior trims and specification upgrades.

The pure and clean exterior design of the Discovery 3 has been refined with a re-profiled front bumper which is now body coloured on all models, as well as a revised rear bumper and wheel arches, which are body coloured on SE and HSE models. The distinctive, asymmetric two-piece tailgate now comes with body coloured tailgate lift handle and clear-lens side indicators are standard across the range. The attention to detail continues with the revised "tungsten" coloured side vent and "tungsten" door, on the on SE and HSE models.

A new 19-inch 7-spoke wheel style and three new exterior metallic paint colours - Santorini Black, Galway Green and Bournville [black with a hint of brown] - complete the exterior changes for 2009. Interior changes include a new "almond" leather trim colour as well as specification upgrades across the range.

Specification changes for 09MY:

TDV6 S: Air Suspension & Terrain Response has been added to the TDV6 S while leather seats have now been made an option.

SE Derivatives: Hi ICE is introduced as standard on SE. This includes the addition of a 6 disc in dash changer, 8 x harmon/kardon™ speakers, and steering wheel controls

HSE Derivatives: Premium ICE is introduced as standard on HSE derivatives which offers the best level of sound available on Discovery 3. With 13 x harmon/kardon™ speakers and Logic 7 surround sound, this system fully exploits Discovery 3's interior Dynamics.

In addition a new Technology Pack is now available as an option on SE & HSE derivatives, offering more value at less cost by packaging Premium Navigation & Bluetooth Phone Integration (PTI) together.
