The most unique version of one of the world's most iconic vehicles has just gone on sale in Australia. The Land Rover Defender 60th Anniversary SVX Limited Edition boasts distinctive exterior design and interior features, making it the most sort after and stylish Defender ever produced.

Only 82 individually numbered Defender SVX's will be sold in Australia, out of a total worldwide production of just 1,800 units, making the SVX a very rare and collectable version of Land Rover's most iconic model.

Whilst the SVX still bears a strong visual resemblance to its 1948 predecessor, many of its features have not previously be seen in a Defender, satellite navigation, Recaro seats, leather steering wheel and iPod compatibility, just to name a few.

The Defender SVX was conceived to celebrate Land Rover's 60th Anniversary, and in keeping with the Special Edition theme each vehicle comes with an individually numbered SVX plaque. In addition the SVX features satin black body wrap 60th decals, diamond turned five-spoke alloy wheels, tubular side-steps, reinforced aluminium front under shield, sunroof, heated seats, aluminum gear knob, and a Clarion audio system with sub woofer and amplifier

Naturally, the SVX is still an exceptional off road vehicle, offering the same breadth of capability as a standard Defender. The only difference is you can now travel into the outback with more style and luxury. With a recommended retail price of just $63,320, the 7 seat Defender SVX represents exceptional value.
